Located a short walk from Sarajevo City Hall, on the River, this unique personal exhibit is constructed and maintained by survivors of the seige of Sarajevo in the 1990’s.
It is presented to educate visitors to the city of the daily struggles faced by civilians and defenders of the from 1992-1995 at the foot of Trebević itself where the 37 mile artillery line surrounded Sarajevo.
Guided tours are not permitted and visitors are encouraged to donate to its ongoing maintenance on a voluntary basis.
The exhibits include interactive examples of real equipment and replicas of shelters and bunkers. There are genuine stories from survivors including those who run the museum.

Know Before You Go
This a free museum and is not staffed. CCTV is monitored for security and donations boxes are present along with bank details for contributions.
Guided tours do not go here.
From city Hall, facing the cable cars leading up Trebević walk across Sehercehaja Bridge and over the square.
Follow the road up Avdage Šahinagića and you will see the museum on your left af the junction after 5 minutes
