In-Cosmetics Global Awards 2025: who won?

The world’s biggest cosmetics ingredients show, In-Cosmetics, is currently taking place at the RAI Amsterdam and, according to the organisers, this year has seen “a record number of new ingredients” in the Innovation Zone, with 211 in total from 163 companies.

Every year, the event holds an awards ceremony to celebrate the best industry innovations, where the entries are judged by R&D professionals from some of the beauty and personal care industry’s top brands.

The winners were announced at a ceremony at the show on the evening of 8 April.

Roziani Zulkifli, who is event director of In-Cosmetics Global, shared that this year’s award entries “have highlighted an incredible commitment to advancing cosmetic science.”

Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Awards

For the Functional Ingredients category…

Gold: Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant for Pickmulse™, a natural emulsifier that redefines the sensory experience.

Silver: Galaxy Surfactants Ltd. for its Galguard®Prebiotive, which is a 100% green antimicrobial preservative derived from bio-renewable sources.

Bronze: White Tiger Ground LLC for WTGPhLA Kimchi Filtrate Organic Preservative, an anti-microbial and sanitising ingredient.

Innovation Zone Best Ingredient in the Active Ingredients

Gold: Solabia Group for Pro-Longevia, which used green biotechnology coupled with strong scientific support.

Silver: Vytrus Biotech Clarivine with Fasting for skin longevity – a 100%-natural active designed to enhance skin cellular longevity and activate the skin’s regeneration processes.

Bronze: Mibelle Biochemistry PhytoCellTec™ Exosomes, which increases exosome production by mesenchymal stem cells inside the skin.

Green Ingredient Award

Gold: Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant for Pickmulse

Silver: AAK Lipex SheaLiquid TR, a naturally derived, eco-friendly liquid shea emollient.

Bronze: Melicica™ by Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant, also took home the Bronze Award, which takes a holistic approach to optimising the skin’s natural repair process.

Kenvue Trusted Science Award

The winners for 2025 was Croda with Luceane, which the company says slows down the ageing process by five years after just one month of application. The ingredient reduces skin fatigue signs and improves radiance.

Rising Star Award

The Rising Star Award celebrates first-year exhibitors, highlighting their advanced products and ingredients while acknowledging their solution-driven approaches. This year the award went to Evolved by Nature – a life sciences company that creates high-performing, sustainable beauty ingredients through biotechnology.

Make-Up Bar and Sensory Bar Award

These accolades spotlight the next generation of colour cosmetics, innovative technologies and developments in sensory, texture and fragrance.

Gold: PolymerExpert, part of Solabia Group took the top title for its OleoShine® Green – The Future of Natural Radiance, which offers ultra-radiant shine and optimised adhesion.

Silver: Daito Kasei Europe for long-lasting, natural and transformative beauty

Bronze: JRS for its Pearlescent serum tablets for reconstitution.

In the Sensory Bar Award category

Gold: Cosmetic product manufacturer Azelis Group NV was awarded Gold for its innovative Sensory Boost.

Silver: Chemyunion a raw materials manufacturer which integrates nature and science, took Silver for its Be Your Beauty innovation.

Bronze: Givaudan Active Beauty and its youth renewal complex S3D® Reverso.

Sustainable Stand Award

The Sustainable Stand Award acknowledges exhibitors who have actively implemented eco-conscious measures when creating their stands. This year, the award went to Laboratoires Expanscience.
