$MOG has posted the 3rd highest gains of any top 100 cryptocurrency in the past 7 days, data from CoinMarketCap reveals.
Several prominent celebrities and crypto influencers have supposedly invested in the meme coin, as evident by their social media posts. However, with MOG’s $750 million market cap, sidelined investors are left wondering whether it is too late to invest in it.
A few smart money investors are already hunting for the “next big thing” in crypto, with Pepe Unchained emerging as one of the standout choices.
Mog Coin Is Among The Highest Crypto Gainers – But Is It Too Late For Sidelined Investors?
Mog Coin has appealed to some of the most prominent celebrities and crypto influencers, which typically bodes extremely well for a meme coin’s upside potential.
For instance, rapper, model and creator of the $MOTHER meme coin has supposedly invested in Mog Coin. She took to X (formerly Twitter) on September 21st and posted “Mogged”.

Furthermore, she even interacted with the Mog Coin’s official X account below her original post.
Similarly, Hailey Welch – more famously known as the “Hawk Tuah Girl” – is supposedly bullish on MOG.
She posted an animated image of her wearing the MOG glasses. Notably, she is also wearing the SPX6900 chain in this image. For the uninitiated, SPX6900 is another new meme coin that has rallied by more than 2200% in the past month.

Similarly, crypto influencers and early gem callers like Murad Mahmudov have also invested in MOG and are eyeing outsized returns. Murad has labelled the Mog Coin community as one of the biggest cults in the meme coin sector, which is extremely bullish for the project in the long run.

Even Ansem – the popular meme coin influencer with over 520k X followers – has been shilling Mog Coin, including during the recent Token 2049 conference. This is decidedly unusual of him, considering MOG is an Ethereum meme coin and Ansem typically favors Solana and SOL meme coins over their Ethereum counterparts.
However, Mog Coin now has a market capitalization of over $750 million. While some analysts like Gem Insider believe that it will reach a $4 billion valuation within the next 6 weeks, the recent trend doesn’t support this thesis.
Meme coins have shown a high propensity of reaching the $1 billion mark, only to slow down as whales rotate to newer meme coins for higher returns. After all, there is a reason why Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have underperformed during this meme coin supercycle.
Sidelined investors would be well advised to wait for a correction in the MOG price and look for a better entry. Or, they could search for the next big thing.
