F1 hits the Americas for the first time this season — so I reckon most of you will enjoy this schedule more than the previous five rounds. Here is how it looks.
Once again, Miami is a sprint race weekend. That means this round’s free practice is reduced to a sole session, with FP1 starting at 12:30pm ET. That is 9:30am on the west coast and 5:30pm in the UK.
It’s then straight into the competitive stuff with sprint race qualifying underway from 4:30pm ET — so 1:30pm PT or 9:30pm BST.
Saturday should be superb with the 30-minute sprint race with lights out at noon ET, which is 9am PT and 5pm UK time — followed by grand prix qualifying from 4pm ET (1pm PT, 9pm UK).
As for Sunday’s race, we’re scheduled to get going at the same time as tomorrow’s qualifying: 4pm ET (1pm PT, 9pm UK).
So, no need to set alarms to wake you up this weekend… (unless you live somewhere silly like Australia, obviously)
