Singer Clock Tower in Wittenberge, Germany

This former sewing machine factory has shaped Wittenberg’s skyline since 1929 with its distinctive clock tower, which was initially under the name Singer and later under the Veritas brand. The industrial structure retains most of its original architectural features, although the clock’s internal workings have been replaced. Today, the  clock itself is controlled via radio by the Braunschweig Institute of Physics.
